This workbook provides a listing of the industry codes used for the LSAY study.

Industry variables are coded to the Australian and New Zealand Standard Industrial Classification (ANZSIC) 2006 from wave 2. There are differences with the way the industry codes have been stored in the LSAY data files when compared with ANZSIC: the LSAY dataset stores the codes using numeric variables while ANZSIC uses a combination of 1-, 2- and 3-character codes. This codeframe has been created to address the discrepancies that arise because of the different data storage methods used.
